Timothy E. Kuster Memorial Award for Excellence in Child Care
Nomination Process
Nominees for the Timothy E. Kuster Memorial Award for Excellence in Child Care should include the following:
- Are members of the Ohio Association of Child and Youth Care Professionals, Inc.
- Have demonstrated a commitment to the field of child and youth care by:
a). their length of services in the field;
b). their pursuit of professional growth. - Have demonstrated a theoretical knowledge of child and youth care by completing the Basic Course in Child Care, The Core Competencies, and/or have a college degree in child and youth care or related field.
- Have demonstrated professional skills such as role modeling, group management, documentation, communication skills, and program development.
Nominations should include the nominee's name, immediate supervisor, agency, agency phone number, agency address, and the name of the person making the nomination including phone number or e-mail address. A short narrative should be submitted that describes why the nominee should be considered for this award.
